The third Air Force plane to carry the name, the C-17 Globemaster III is the most flexible cargo aircraft to enter the airlift force. The C-17 is capable of rapid strategic delivery of troops and all types of cargo to main operating bases or directly to forward bases in the deployment area. The aircraft can perform tactical airlift and airdrop missions and can transport litters and ambulatory patients during aeromedical evacuations.
Two sizes; Large is approximately 20" Tip to tip and 6-3/4" tall this can be ordered with a 2" (Class III, IV or V) or  1-1/4" hitch post; Medium is approximately 17" wide and 5-3/4" tall and is only available with a 1-1/4" hitch post.
